The main function of DNA in a cell is to store and transmit genetic information. This information dictates the development and function of an organism and is passed down from one generation to the next.

DNA is the genetic code in a cell that makes up genes. It has all the instructions needed by a living organisms to grow reproduce and function.

I run a social media platform called “Genes Zetu” which gives the basics of genetics in both swahili and english 🙂
