To formulate a strong research question about electricity, start by identifying a specific area of interest within the broad field of electricity, then narrow it down to a focused question. Consider exploring areas like renewable energy sources, energy storage, or the impact of electricity on various technologies. Refine your initial question by asking “why” and “how” to make it more specific and researchable.

      Great minds ask great questions!

To come up with a good research question in electricity:

Observe your environment – Are there power blackouts? Expensive bills? Unsafe wiring?

Ask “What if?” – What if we could store solar power in cheaper batteries?

Find problems – What electrical issue do people face at home, in school, or in farms?

Read & explore – Look at science magazines, YouTube science channels, or local challenges (like energy loss or poor access).

Make it simple & specific – E.g. “How can we make phone charging cheaper using bicycle energy?”

A good question is clear, solves a problem, and makes you curious to explore more!
