Work hard in school and get good grades in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. Studying physics will also help if you want to venture into biomedical engineering.

You need to enjoy school and this goes beyond working hard is more of passion. Yes working hard is vital but medicine requires devotion as such you need to be passionate about studies to ensure you don’t burn out. Sciences are non-negotiable ( Biology, Chemistry and to some extent physics) and Mathematics too.
