  I got interested in science from a young girl right in primary school. As I navigated my adult life, I realized I enjoy understanding people and developed a keen interest in social sciences. My greatest science model is Marie Curie. I get inspired by her work and try to emulate her. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, and the first person to win a Nobel Prize twice, and the only person to win a Nobel Prize in two scientific fields!

  My passion for my countrymen. I wanted to become a scientist to better the live of Kenyans. Everyday I do something in my field I ask myself how will this better the life of the “mama mboga” out there. Science is a tool that is only limited by the mind using it.
